Take an afternoon out to get to know your new (or neglected!) sewing machine.
Ideal for the absolute beginner, or those of you with a sewing machine tucked at
the back of a wardrobe who need a "refresher". Get to grips with the basics on top-of the-range Janome 525S
sewing machines, and sew a cushion in top quality designer printed cotton.
Friendly, relaxed, small classes. All material, haberdashery and sewing equipment are included in the price
- you don't need to bring anything except yourself!

class for beginners and anyone who's ever been flustered or flummoxed by a paper dressmaking pattern. In a friendly, small class learn how to take proper body measurements, choose the right pattern
for you, decode all those strange markings and pin and cut out successfully.
This is a follow-on
class for those who have attended the Get to Know Your Sewing Machine class or who can thread and use a sewing machine already. You don't need to be an expert, but you will need the basic skills.
Get
started with a pair of easy cotton pyjama bottoms - children's or adult's. Just tell us which when booking.
Pattern, choice of fabric, elastic and trims all provided.
